Westchester Parks Foundation to Host 2nd Annual Duck Derby at Tibbetts Brook

Over 1,000 rubber ducks will be released into the Lazy River Pool at Tibbetts Brook Park for the second annual Westchester Parks Foundation (WPF) Duck Derby. Rain Date: August 7. Proceeds from the event will support the Westchester Parks Foundation’s wide variety of community initiatives and programs.
Duck prices start at $25 for a single duck, $50 for three ducks, and $100 for a flock of ten ducks. Three separate races will be run, each with a special prize for the winner! The grand prize for the winner of the final race is $1,000 cash! Each duck will be marked with a number on the bottom, corresponding to an individual’s purchase. Winners need not be present to win. All adults must purchase at least one duck to enter, and kids are free! All guests will receive a good voucher for a standard meal combo at the concession stand, with additional food and drink being available for purchase (alcohol for 21+). This is a family-friendly event, so individuals of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun. There will be a DJ, a bounce house for children, and the opportunity to get in the pool and swim this year!
This event is made possible through community support from Westchester County Parks, Recreation and Conservation, as well as presenting sponsors RXR and Great Wolf Lodge.
