New York Dance Theatre Presents the 43rd Annual Production of

“The Nutcracker”at Hofstra University

December 20 & 21, 2025 ~ 12p & 5p both days

Since 1982, New York Dance Theatre, together with the Ohman School of Ballet, has presented the full length “The Nutcracker” story ballet every December.

This is a full production ballet with guest artists from leading companies including New York City Ballet and Broadway along with a cast of eighty children courtesy of Ohman School of Ballet and School of American Ballet, and the semi-professional and professional dancers of New York Dance Theatre.

New York Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker welcomes you directly into the Silberhaus home as soon as you enter our lobby doors. Brittany Pollack, Soloist with New York City Ballet, and Daniel Ulbricht, Principal with New York City Ballet and Artistic Advisor for NYDT, will perform the roles of the Sugarplum Fairy and the Sugarplum’s Cavalier in Ohman’s New York Dance Theatre production of “The Nutcracker.”
