Teddy Bear Day: Story + STEAM

To celebrate National Teddy Bear Day, join us for a story time and STEAM craft. This day was inspired by President Theodore Roosevelt’s refusal to hurt a bear cub while hunting. Listen to the story “A Bear to Share” by Jessical Alba, then create and decorate your very own origami bears! Great for ages 5-12.

This program will take place indoors at West New Brighton Library. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must stay nearby for the duration of the program and be prepared to assist their child, as needed. Programs start on-time and late comers may not be fully accommodate due to time constraints.
