Spring events in Prospect Park

Prospect Park Alliance is gearing up for a full spring season of events and activities in Brooklyn’s Backyard.

Wrap up cold weather festivities with a Bond with Brooklyn Free Community Skate on Saturday, March 18. Enjoy free ice skating rentals and admission, hot chocolate and more. Then, start spring with a spin on the cherished 1912 Prospect Park Carousel, check out upcoming Spring Break Nature Exploration activities at the Audubon Center, enjoy Brooklyn eats and drinks at our popular food festival, Smorgasburg Prospect Park, and get set for the start of rollerskating, biking and boating at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside.

As the weather warms up and the park welcomes more visitors, please lend a hand to keep this essential space clean and green! Give back to your park at upcoming volunteer opportunities throughout the spring starting in April.
