Mojo Supermarket Gallery Presents Welcome Home
Mojo Supermarket Gallery’s inaugural show entitled Welcome Home.
A group exhibition featuring: Carole Kunstadt, Erin Lorek, K Haskell, Kasia Zurek-Doule, Michael Sylvan Robinson, Nick van Woert, and Shihui Zhou. Curated by Anne-Laure Lemaitre & Magdalena Santos.
Mojo Supermarket is a home for creatives, bridging the gap between art, impact, and advertising – by way of an agency & creative studio. We recently took over the A/D/O space in North Williamsburg, and to harness the creative energy that once existed in this place – we will host open exhibitions throughout the year of artists we love surrounding topics we care about.
Our first exhibition in the space, entitled Welcome Home is a group show, and a reflection of home as a place both remembered and imagined. The works are predominately physical, with sculptural and textile pieces intertwined that craft a journey for the senses. A display of differing experiences bound by a common yearning to be in the place where we are whole.
The works will be housed within our gallery space at 29 Norman Ave –a revitalized creative hub and Mojo Supermarket’s new location. Welcome Home will be on view from August 15, 2022 – October 18, 2022.
