DAVID ROTHMAN
David Rothman is the author of the novel, Lelya Dorche and the Coney Island Cure. He teaches writing at Queensborough Community College (CUNY). His novella, The Lower East Side Tenement Reclamation Association, won the Omnidawn 2018 fabulist fiction prize and was published in 2020. His short story, “Guided by Voices” won a fiction prize with Glimmer Train. JARED HAREL
Jared Harél is the author of Let Our Bodies Change the Subject, which was selected by Kwame Dawes as the Winner of the 2022 Raz/Shumaker Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry (U. of Nebraska Press, September 2023) and Go Because I Love You (Diode Editions, 2018). He’s been awarded the ‘Stanley Kunitz Memorial Prize’ from American Poetry Review, as well as the ‘William Matthews Poetry Prize’ from Asheville Poetry Review. BOO TRUNDLE
Boo Trundle is a writer, artist, and performer whose work has appeared across various platforms and publications, including The Brooklyn Rail, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and NPR’s The Moth. MARY-ELAINE JENKINS
Mary-Elaine Jenkins is a Brooklyn-based songwriter, singer, and guitarist. A native of the South Carolina Low country, her sound combines manifold influences with a distinctly southern sensibility. Upon making her home in NYC, she surrounded herself with a creative network that would eventually include Thom Beemer, who produced and engineered “Hold Still,” her full-length debut. MEJ has been named among “5 Up-And-Coming Women Musicians You Should Know About” (Bust Magazine), described as “standing righteously above other young pretenders” (Glide Magazine), and her voice has been called “a mix of cloves, sage, ash, thorns, and honey” (The Deli NYC). https://maryelainejenkins.com/
JEFFERSON HAMER
Jefferson Hamer is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He has toured and recorded albums with Anais Mitchell (Child Ballads, winner of a BBC2 Folk Award), Sarah Jarosz (as guitarist and harmony singer on her Grammy-nominated Blue Heron Suite), and Session Americana. The Murphy Beds, his long-running traditional folk duo with Eamon O’Leary, has released two self-produced albums, about which the Huffington Post wrote, “[the album] bears repeated listening from start to finish, with ten beautiful, crystalline songs.” jeffersonhamer.com
COLIN DEMPSEY
Colin Dempsey is an Irish singer-songwriter, guitarist, and bass player based in New York. Colin is the singer and guitarist for the Indie-Rock duo Supersmall with Neuroscientist and storyteller Daniela Schiller. He is also the bass player for the New York neuroscience rock band The Amygdaloids. Colin is also part of the Heavy Mental Neuroscience folk-rock duo So We Are, with Joseph LeDoux.
