Homebound: A New Play

Homebound.2

Homebound is a dark comedy about two brothers reconnecting as their mother’s health worsens. Wilson has never left Athens, Ohio where they grew up, while Jack moved to Ireland during college and never looked back. Now that Jack is home he is confronted by all he’s missed as he tries to reconcile his feelings and his self-image with his decisions.

Tonally similar to a Martin McDonagh play, Homebound is a look into the sibling relationships, loss, resentment, guilt, and all the complexity of family. 80 minutes, no intermission. I promise it’s also funny though.
