Harlem Chamber Players presents: Music by Tania León, Frederick Tillis, and Trevor Weston

Harlem Chamber Players presents an evening of new music featuring the world premiere of Trevor Weston’s “Bajan Coromantees”.

This exciting new work is inspired by the numerous African uprisings in 17th Century Barbados, the continuing conflict with the English that occurred in response to this resistance, and the atrocities that followed.

“Bajan Coromantees” is a musical response to this history.
