Crown Heights Nostrand Ave Street Tree Care
Clean Up Crown Heights invites community members to join for September 10th and 18th for street tree care along Nostrand Avenue. Volunteers will help clean up litter, aerate the soil, plant bulbs and native seeds, and water the tree beds along Nostrand, from Atlantic Ave to Eastern Parkway. Available shifts are 11AM-1PM, 1PM-3PM, or 3PM-5PM on both event dates. To sign up to volunteer, visit bit.ly/nostrandtrees.
This beautification effort is made possible thanks to an All In Neighborhood Grant from Citizens Committee for New York City, compost donated by Big Reuse, and partnerships with many Crown Heights community orgs.
