Afro-Caribbean and Latin Dance Class Series at Flatbush Library

Join Flatbush Library for a free six-week dance class this winter. Get moving, increase your energy and practice some of the most popular dances from across Latin America and the Caribbean. Each week, instructors from DanceWave will demonstrate the basic steps and rhythms for a different dance style and tradition. Classes take place weekly on Thursday mornings in December and January, with the exception of Thursday, Dec. 21 and 28, when we will break for the holidays.

Class schedule:

• Dec. 7, 14 – Afro Caribbean
• Jan. 4, 11 – Salsa
• Jan. 18, 25 – Merengue
