Active listening is an important skill in reaching out to a friend or family member who is battling substance misuse.  This training uses the real play method to teach participants how to have a potentially difficult conversation with someone who has a substance use problem.  Participants will learn how to be better and more engaged listeners.

Our expert instructor is Nurse Maria Jeanniton, a passionate advocate and expert in providing critical care to vulnerable populations.  She has over 25 years of clinical and managerial experience and over 15 years of experience in acute home care. Heart of the Matter – Integrating Faith.
